Wildfire Burning Near Denver Briefly Prompts Evacuation Order

A wildfire burning near Denver, Colorado, briefly prompted evacuations in the Ken Caryl area, on December 27, as the blaze reached approximately 150 acres.

According to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, evacuation orders were scaled back to a pre-evacuation notice just over an hour after the fire was initially reported.
