When Ksenia Coffman opens her laptop, it's with a purpose in mind: to correct Nazi "fan fiction" and glorification of military violence on Wikipedia. A few times a week, she edits articles, debates comments, and sources information. "I feel that’s it’s incredibly important to make sure that Wikipedia content is free of historical distortions, of various types of mythology, of glorification of military violence because Wikipedia is so accessible," says Coffman, who lives in California but grew up in the Soviet Union and contributes around 200 edits per month.
