Zendaya went for crustacean couture at her latest promo event for Dune.

The actress wore a surrealist Schiaparelli look at Comic Con Experience São Paulo in Brazil on Sunday and it featured a Dune-inspired critter.

Her monochromatic look consisted of a classic tuxedo shirt, white heels and a long skirt boasting a three-dimensional lobster. The look originally debuted during Schiaparelli’s Spring 2024 Ready-to-Wear show.

Zendaya wore the avant garde design while presenting Dune: Part Two alongside her castmates Timothée Chalamet, Austin Butler and Florence Pugh. The film hits theaters March 1, 2024.

The actress’s stylist Law Roach took to Instagram to reveal the inspiration behind the look, explaining on his story that the stylish collaborators were channeling sandworms, an alien creature from the Dune films.

The famed stylist also handled Zendaya’s looks for the original film’s press tour.

Roach announced his retirement from celebrity styling earlier this year, and has since become Zendaya’s creative director. Zendaya has worked with the awarded stylist since they met when she was 14 years old. Roach has since reached fame in the fashion industry, largely due to his collaboration with the Golden Globe award winner.

Roach explained his upward trajectory while accepting the innovation award at Hollywood Unlocked's Annual Impact Awards in June. Roach said at the beginning of his career, all he knew was that he “wanted to be considered the best.”

“And when they had conversations about who's the best and all these white women — ‘Oh, she's the best. She's the best’ — I knew that I wanted my name to be included in those conversations,” he said. “And, by the grace of God and hard work and belief in myself, I achieved that.”

In August, Roach told Elle he’s grateful his work with Zendaya has been so well-received.

“I’m grateful that people like the work and understand the story,” the actress’s creative director said. “And I’m grateful for her giving me the opportunity to shine.”

According to Zendaya, Roach is a ride-or-die.

“I ride super hard for my team, especially for people I love,” Zendaya told Elle. “[Law's] involved in every fashion contract, everything I do. If I have an opportunity where he can come with me, he’s always going to be there. He’s always been my creative director in a sense, and he continues to fill that role, because it’s more than just clothes on a red carpet. It’s a bigger thing.”
