Jason Oppenheim know how to oversee a real estate brokerage that not only brings in the big bucks, but also that makes for good TV. As seen Netflix's original series Selling Sunset, the Oppenheim Group, located at the corner of Sunset Blvd. and Sunset Plaza Dr., in Los Angeles, is your go-to spot when looking to buy or sell properties priced in the millions. The founder and president, Jason Oppenheim, works with his all-female team to make big deals—amidst no shortage of TV-worthy drama.

While the show focuses more so on the professional and personal lives of agents Christine Quinn, Heather Rae Young, Chrishell Sause, Mary Fitzgerald, and more, Oppenheim is always in the back calling all the shots. It's no wonder he's literally worth millions.

How much is Jason Oppenheim worth?

According to Celebrity Net Worth, the 43-year-old real estate mogul has an estimated net worth of $50 million — far more than any other star on Selling Sunset or at the brokerage. Besides his home selling chops, the 5’ 6” bachelor has a pretty accomplished past.

Oppenheim was a lawyer prior to entering the real estate business

According to his bio on the Oppenheim Group website, Oppenheim received both his undergraduate and law degree from UC Berkeley, where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa and first in his class. While attending Berkeley, he also was an instructor in the Political Science and Legal Studies Department.

His first official job out of school was with international law firm O’Melveny & Myers. While at the firm, he represented a broad range of big-name clients (think: the former Enron CEO in the Enron scandal). He even went on to represent a client in a United States Supreme Court... and win.

Why did Oppenheim quit law to pursue real estate?

Although he made an exceptional attorney, Oppenheim left his practice to follow in the footsteps of five generations of his family who had made a name for themselves in real estate. In fact, his great-great-grandfather, Jacob Stern, started one of Los Angeles's first real estate companies in 1889.

Oppenheim joined Coldwell Banker, where he soon established himself as one of the Nation’s leading realtors. After only three years of experience, he founded The Oppenheim Group brokerage. Now, he and his fierce team sell more than 100 properties a year. To date, the Oppenheim Group has made upward of $1 billion in closed sales.

Past clients of Oppenheim's include celebrities like Kris Humphries, Orlando Bloom, Chloe Grace Moretz, Taye Diggs, Dakota Johnson, Jessica Alba, and more. Overall, it seems Oppenheim was destined to be great from the start no matter what he put his mind to.
