Whether You're Destined for a Summer Love, Based on Your Zodiac Sign

Summer is heating up!
"Love, sex, romance and passion will all be on the menu in 2024," PEOPLE's resident astrologer Kyle Thomas says. The best news? "All zodiac signs" will feel the "sizzling" effects of this prediction.
While the Summer Solstice marks the beginning of the season on June 20 and concludes with the Autumn Equinox on Sept. 22, Thomas says late May kicks off months of "sweat, flirtation and laughter" through Labor Day weekend in September.
"We will have an extremely festive and social summer this year," predicts Thomas. "This is due to many planets, like Jupiter and Mercury, residing in Gemini." An "extroverted and excitable" energy coincides with this zodiac sign, aligning with those who want to mingle professionally or romantically.
When it comes to dating, Thomas says that "we’ll be eager to spice it up and meet many new suitors" this summer — but because Gemini is the sign of the twins, he warns that many may find themselves "stuck between two suitors" as a result.

Pluto, the planet of power, will also be in Aquarius throughout the summer. Thomas says we could experience "powerful karmic or transformative relations with friends and acquaintances" around this time or "be drawn to people who are very powerful, influential or psychologically deep."
Mars, the planet of passion, shines in many sectors this season. It resides in Aries until June 9, which Thomas says will make us "courageous, fiery, confident and radiate sex appeal." Mars will be in Taurus from June 9 to July 20, encouraging us to "take a slow, methodical approach to life and relationships." From July 20 until Sept. 3, Mars ventures into Gemini, causing our social lives to "erupt once again."
A full moon in Aquarius will rise on Aug. 19, which Thomas says "could bring a big opportunity to connect with friends and attend events." However, he warns the full moon is "especially chaotic" and "could throw corkscrews at our romantic lives and social lives near this time."

Aries (March 21-April 19)
Prepare for a social and spicy summer, Aries!
According to Thomas, there is "so much cosmic energy accentuating your close friends" — but this summer, you're "bound to add many new acquaintances" to your life too. He says this is "an amazing time" to plan quick vacations with your pals because "love could be found or blossom on the road."
In the first half of June, Thomas says you'll feel "especially sexy and magnetic." After July 11, he predicts "more passionate celestial energy will be on your side" that will remain through the rest of summer.
Whether you're in a relationship or not, Thomas predicts you'll "feel a flame ignite in your heart." Make the most of this energy by lining up potential suitors because "you could meet a true love," he says.
Be aware, however, that August could be "a bit rocky with a Mercury retrograde taking place," Thomas warns. "Exes, old flames or previous hookups may be begging for your attention — or perhaps, you may be wishing to reconnect with one of them."
If it's the latter, Thomas advises "communicating" to ensure you're both on the same page.
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
A magnificent summer romance could be just around the corner for you, Taurus! While you likely had a beautiful summer last year, Thomas predicts this year could be "even more sexy and passionate."
He says you’ll be feeling "rich and prosperous" this summer, which may have you "indulging in your senses." Regardless of whether you're single or attached, he says "it's clear you’re trying to level up."
Between June 9 and July 20, Thomas predicts you'll be "more fired up than you’ve been in two years, radiating sex appeal and have a higher libido." He suggests you "take the lead and assert yourself because your charisma, charm and bravado will make you irresistible!"
Thomas says August will bring "dazzling" opportunities for love, fertility and dating. However, he warns that Mercury retrograde could cause an ex to be on your mind — or perhaps, cause one to attempt a reconnection with you.
"August’s Mercury retrograde could also encourage you to reconnect with family or relatives," he adds.

Gemini (May 21-June 20)
Welcome to one of the luckiest summers of your life, Gemini! "You’ll have a gorgeous time all summer long," predicts Thomas.
However, he says it's important to note that June is "one of the most important periods in a twelve-year cycle" to "assert yourself and begin to build the life of your dreams." He notes that you'll find you're "especially lucky" in your personal and romantic life too. "Don't settle!" he advises.
Between June 9 and July 20, Thomas says you may feel "a bit more reflective and craving solitude." Meanwhile, he says "you'll feel on fire" on July 20 through early September. "You’ll be magnetic, radiant and fired up with a spicy libido," he predicts.
Later in the summer, particularly in August, Thomas says you may notice "many opportunities to travel." Mercury retrograde will be taking place at this time, however, so he suggests you "double and triple check all of your plans on the itinerary."
If you decide to revisit a place from your past, Thomas says you may feel "especially nostalgic." Take advantage of this time and "enjoy catching up with old friends or relatives," he says.
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
A sparkling summer is here for you, Cancer! Though, Thomas predicts a "feeling of nostalgia" may feel "stronger than usual this year."
"You have a great deal of cosmic energy encouraging you to lie low, embrace solitude and reflect on the past that's led you to the present," he puts forth. "You could also be nostalgic about past lovers or experiences with your sweetheart or finding closure and healing wounds that have occurred before."
But don’t worry! Between June 9 and July 20, Thomas says "you’ll have plenty of time" to socialize and celebrate life. "You’ll be radiating popularity and everyone will want a piece of you," he adds.
If in a relationship, Thomas suggests "throwing parties or going on double dates with your sweetheart and pals." If single, he says you may be able "to turn an acquaintance into a lover or line up many suitors through online dating." The chemistry will be magnetic!
Between June 17 and July 11, Thomas predicts "you'll be especially attractive," so make the most of this period by "updating your look, trying a new hairstyle or buying clothes that show off your shape." The time surrounding your birthday through early July, Thomas says are "key times" to "assert yourself and build toward" the love story of your dreams.
Lastly, Thomas says this is "a major summer for partnership" due to two full moons that are likely to "accelerate your connection." In contrast, you may feel "friction or even part ways" if you aren't on the same page as your partner. These spotlight moments may occur around June 22 and July 21.
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
When it comes to having a “summer romance-a-thon,” Leo, Thomas says your zodiac sign is likely to have "the greatest luck on your side." He explains, "You could feel like bliss is raining down on you in every way regardless if single or attached."
Your sector of joy and friendships is "brilliantly lit up" all summer long, says Thomas, especially in June. If you’ve held feelings for someone in your circle for a while, he puts forth that "now is the time to make a move."
Thomas says the period after July 11 will be the "next big spotlight period" to migrate into your zodiac sign. For the months ahead, he predicts you’ll be "more radiant, magnetic and charming than ever before." More opportunities to "meet someone special" or "improve your rapport with your one-and-only" may arise.
Early August puts you center stage, but Thomas says the full moon near Aug. 19 could "bring you closer to someone you love" — or the opposite, "push you in the other direction." Whichever it may be, he says it will be further activated because of Mercury retrograde occurring in your zodiac sign throughout much of August.
Regardless, Thomas says birthday season "should be magical," so focus on living in the moment and having fun!

Virgo (Aug. 23- Sept. 22)
This summer will bring you many opportunities to travel and step outside of your comfort zone, Virgo! Thomas says this will be "especially noticeable" between June 9 and July 20.
If in a relationship, he predicts you'll both be "venturing off to far destinations together." If single, he predicts you may "feel the urge to date outside of your normal type." If that's the case, he says "you could find that this person opens up your perspective in wondrous ways."
With two full moons bringing news and decisions in the weeks surrounding June 22 and July 21, Thomas says this is "a big summer for choices around romance, fertility and love." If in a romance, he suggests using this energy to "reignite your spark!"
"Your social life will be particularly peaked at the end of June into July," notes Thomas, "but you’ll notice you’re feeling more attractive and beautiful throughout August." He warns that Mercury retrograde will be active throughout that month, which "may cause confusion around your true needs."
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
A fun and festive summer awaits, Libra, so buckle up for some romance and adventure!
First, Thomas predicts you’ll experience a "deep urge" to shake it up and step outside of your normal routine. This will be especially noticeable in June, but the feeling may last throughout the summer.
"You may be whisked away to an exotic beach location with your true love or venture off with friends and find yourself immersed in a scintillating fling," he puts forth. If single, he suggests dating "outside of your normal type" because you might just be surprused!
Next, Thomas predicts you'll feel a "big pull" to your home and domestic life particularly around the full moons on June 22 and July 21. Perhaps, this may come in the form of "hosting a lively event for family and friends" or rather "moving or renovating."
Lastly, Thomas says the planets will "heat up your social life" after July 11, making you feel "especially popular" as a result. Meeting new friends, spending time with longtime pals or dating around your social circle could also peak your interest.
Note that August "could bring some miscommunication, drama or confusion" around friends or exes," Thomas puts forth. If you want to reconnect with an old pal, though, he says "you’re in luck!"
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
Buckle up for a sexy summer, Scorpio! Thomas predicts it could be "one of the most erotic ones you’ve had in over a decade!"
While he notes this energy "peaks" in June, you could see yourself "oozing with temptation and anticipation between June 9 and September." This summer could have you "erupting with fireworks," he says, both romantically and sexually.
You also have some "peculiar energy" in your cosmic forecast, too. Thomas explains, "You seem to be needing to invest hard work into building your romantic life or keeping the passion lit."
But don’t worry! He says take "a more mature, realistic and grounded approach" because "long-term relationships" or "dating older" are in your favor this summer. Between June 9 and July 20, Thomas predicts singles could be attracting suitors "with long-term potential or making long-term plans" if in a relationship from the past year.
Elsewhere in Thomas' prediction, he says "travel is looking fabulous" near the June 22 and July 21 full moons. "Head out to the forest, a cabin or mountains and you’ll feel right at home with nature."
Lastly, Thomas says that August brings opportunities to meet new friends — or perhaps, try your hand at online dating. Be aware, however, that there could be "some confusion or disagreements" with friends near this time too.
Sagittarius (Nov. 21-Dec. 21)
If you’ve been used to a "bachelor or bachelorette lifestyle," Sagittarius, Thomas predicts you "could find yourself swept off your feet" this summer! He says you have "the best stars of all the zodiac signs for partnership, marriage and commitment."
While you like your freedom, he says "you'll be itching for your partner in life as you parade off into the sunset." He continues, "You’ll find yourself erupting with joy and laughter as you realize you may have found your perfect match."
June could be a big month to put yourself out there, Thomas notes. Fortunately, you're likely to have "so much in your favor" through autumn! Early June will be "all about intimacy, sensuality and snuggling up close and personal." He says you'll "hunger for the urge to merge."
In July, Thomas predicts "some of your best opportunities for love could come through travel if single" or "dating outside your normal type. While he says August could also bring "many chances" to adventure, he warns of "confusion" or "missed connections."
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
While you likely had opportunities for a "sexy or romantic" summer last year, Capricorn, Thomas predicts this year is "packing the heat and bringing the fireworks!" Whether you're single or attached, he says "you’ll have cosmic luck across the board."
First to note is your dating life. Thomas says it "could be sizzling between June 9 through July 20." He explains, "This is some of the best energy ever for singles to meet someone who ignites their heart on fire — so get out there, date around and leap head first into some passionate adventures."
After June 17, Thomas says you’ll also be likely to find "more harmony, pleasure and magic" in your important relationships. "Opportunities to find a long-term relationship, make long-term plans, move in, get engaged or even wed could be on the table in early July," he says.
"Intimacy, sexy times and sensuality will be especially enjoyable later in July and at the onset of August," adds Thomas. "Just be aware that there could be some confusion around what you give and receive and if your needs are being met due to a Mercury retrograde in August."
Lastly, Thomas predicts this summer will "certainly be a milestone" as it "thrusts you into the spotlight!" Two full moons will be in your zodiac sign, so the weeks surrounding June 22 and July 21 could prompt you to "make big decisions around your personal life."
If you’re not feeling valued, he predicts "it’s likely you’ll be leaving someone in the dust." If you're in a happy state of your relationship, however, he says "a dream in your heart may come true."

Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
It’s the summer of love, Aquarius! "You have a celestial parade of stars championing through the heavens and encouraging you to open your heart," says Thomas.
"June will be glorious around your passions, but the heat could sizzle even more between July 20 and the beginning of September," he puts forth. "The energy notable surrounds sex, love, romance, fertility and bliss — so don’t just settle for a love story if it isn’t one that sets your heart on fire."
If single, Thomas says "you must seize the day" and "put yourself out there." Beginning on July 11, he notes the planets will "bring harmony, pleasure and attraction to your significant relationship."
Finding a longterm romance or making longterm plans "are especially favored," says Thomas, but warns that August "could bring confusion, miscommunication, drama or headaches to relationships too." This may involve an ex-partner reaching out to you, or rather, you reaching out to them.
Lastly, Thomas predicts it isn't likely you’ll be "tying up matters from the past, healing from a previous relationship, being reflective or letting something go in the weeks surrounding June 22 and July 21." Above all, he says to "learn from the past so you don’t ever repeat the same mistakes!"
Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
A fun summer is here for you, Pisces! While there will be an emphasis around home matters, Thomas predicts you could meet your love at the same time.
Regarding domestic life, Thomas says it could mean you're moving, renovating or hosting copious amounts of parties at your residence. If you're looking for a partner, he says to consider "throwing some mixers and asking friends to bring single options along." You never know who you could meet when entertaining!
Increased travel and an active social life is the next big theme to put on your radar between June 9 and July 20. "You’ll be eager to catch up with your crew and may take quick little vacations with pals, perhaps even in your town," says Thomas.
For singles, he says "there’s a possibility you could align with someone new out of nowhere!" He says it might even be a mutual friend who you haven't spent much time with but is very much in your circle. If in a relationship, he says you may place your focus on "quick trips"
"Romance and passion begin to bloom even more after June 17," says Thomas, "followed by a new opportunity or open door in your love life after the new moon in early July." He adds, "You may realize you’ve met someone truly special or that you’re falling more deeply in love."
In the weeks surrounding the new moons on June 22 and July 21, Thomas predicts your social life and friendships are likely "to become even more prominent." He explains, "You could be invited to a big event or networking situation where you expand your social circle, connect with powerful acquaintances or meet new options."
Lastly, he notes that August will likely be focused on "long-term commitments and partnerships." Be warned, though, that "confusion or miscommunication" could also arise during the month. You may find yourself wondering where you stand in a relationship, questioning if you and your partner are "official" or not.
Luckily, Thomas says if you "treat forward slowly," autumn will likely bring "more opportunities for growing in your relationships or tying the knot."
