Where are all the fans? Qatar's Lusail looks like a ghost town a day before World Cup start

So much for a festival of football, Lusail, the second largest city in Qatar, looked like a ghost town just 24 hours before the World Cup was due to kick off. Video shot on Saturday 19 November showed Lusail Boulevard, supposed to be a popular fan area and retail district, completely deserted. The filmer had gone there expecting some life, though did concede that temperatures around 35C (95F) might have had something to do with the quiet atmosphere.
