What's leaving Netflix in September 2024: “The Conjuring, The Breakfast Club, Dune, The Wiz”, and more
"Crazy Ex-Girlfriend," "Bodies Bodies Bodies," and the "Fifty Shades" trilogy are also on their way out.
Summer's on its way out, and so are a cornucopia of beloved TV shows and movies from the Netflix streaming library.
A number of popular recent films are leaving the platform this month, from the first and second Conjuring films, to Denis Villeneuve's Dune, to Cuties and the Fifty Shades trilogy. The lion's share of departing movies are nostalgic classics, however, including the first and second Beverly Hills Cop movies, which leave Sept. 3, Clerks, A Walk to Remember, and the Back to the Future trilogy, which you'll have until the end of the month to (re)watch.
As far as series, Sept. 5 will see the exit of the full seasons runs of three popular titles that originally premiered on The CW - Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, iZombie, and Jane the Virgin. The Tina Fey-produced, Nicole Richie-starring sitcom Great News is also leaving the platform on Sept. 27., and all six seasons of Shonda Rhimes' How to Get Away With Murder will leave three days later.

Of particular note in the exit slate is the Sept. 30 departure of Muriel's Wedding, the cult classic Australian matrimonial comedy starring Toni Colette and Rachel Griffiths. The film marked Colette's third-ever screen role and launched both actresses to international fame. It features a dazzlingly dragged-up rendition of ABBA's "Waterloo," yet remains criminally underseen.
