Wendy’s Frosty and Frosty Cream Cold Brews Are Free for 5 Days in Honor of the Peppermint Flavor Rejoining the Menu

Wendy's is celebrating the season of giving in a big way.

To honor the return of the peppermint Frosty and the new peppermint Frosty cream cold brew, the fast food chain is giving its mobile app users a special free treat.

Fans have until Sunday, Nov. 19 to order a free small Frosty or a small Frosty cream cold brew in the Wendy's app — with no purchase required.

The new peppermint Frosty cream cold brew features peppermint syrup swirled in smooth cold-brewed coffee with classic Frosty creamer over ice. It is an add-on to the already available chocolate, vanilla, and caramel flavor options.

The peppermint Frosty first joined the menu last November. When it was initially released, it was the first-ever holiday-flavored Frosty the chain introduced to its customers. This year, it serves as a replacement for the pumpkin spice Frosty, which has been on the menu since Sept. 12.

Wendy's has also partnered with DoorDash to allow its DashPass members to get a free medium frosty every Friday through the end of 2023 with an order of $15 or more starting Nov. 24.

Earlier this month, Wendy's announced that customers can snag free 6-piece chicken nuggets with a purchase on its app or online every Wednesday until the end of the year.

Shake Shack also has freebies this week. The chain is offering its customers a free chicken sandwich, called the Chicken Shack, using the promo code CHICKENDANCE at checkout.

The deal requires a $10 minimum order and is available at Shake Shack kiosks or when ordering online. It began on Monday and is being offered until Sunday, Nov. 19.
