Wellington the Penguin Visits Auditorium While His Aquarium Remains Closed to Public

Wellington the penguin took a walk through Shedd Aquarium, in Chicago, on April 25, to visit the auditorium, a video shows.

To celebrate World Penguin Day, Shedd Aquarium said Wellington went to the place they usually use for 4D movies. Movie-watching isn’t a preferred penguin activity, they said, though the birds do have good eyesight, both in and out of water.

The aquarium has been regularly posting videos of Wellington’s adventures walking through the aquarium, which remains closed to the public due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Credit: Shedd Aquarium via Storyful
