A drone show displayed World Cup–inspired visuals over Doha, Qatar, on Monday, November 14, before the tournament’s scheduled start on Sunday, November 20.

Footage recorded by Rais Ahmed Khan in Doha shows different images created by the drones, including a “Welcome to Qatar” banner lighting up the night sky.
