We’ve finally reached the finals of the 5th Yahoo eSports Invitational. With teams from all across the Asia-Pacific region competing for a prize of US$15,000, you can be sure of some fast and furious action on the Sanhok map!

Overwatch World Cup 2019 (USA)

The fourth Overwatch World Cup tournament will happen during November. However, the format of competing has now changed. Instead of having country-specific qualifiers to determine the final few teams to fight at BlizzCon, the entire tournament will happen during the week leading up to the company game expo.
Countries will now have to find and select their players from now onwards until 14 July. The selected players and committee members will travel to the live event and receive complimentary access to BlizzCon by 26 July.

Want to be a professional racer by playing racing games? Then the eRacing Grand Prix SEA is for you. Slated for June 2019, this tournament will have players competing in Malaysia, the Philippines, Indonesia, Singapore, Vietnam, and Thailand in Gran Turismo Sport for PS4.
The eRacing Grand Prix SEA has unfortunately been pushed back from its original June date to July due to unavoidable circumstances. Like stated before, the winner of each stop will be trained to drive a real race car and offered a spot in the Formula 4 South East Asia Championship before heading in the bigger leagues.
World Cyber Games 2019 Xi’an (China)

One of Asia’s biggest Dota 2 tournaments is slated for July, for a lion’s share of the US$140,000 prize pool. The teams involved in this battle include Asia Pacific finalists Cignal Ultra and MSCerberus TH, as well as other overseas teams like Thunder Predator, Black Sheep, Hippomaniacs, and KeinBockOderWas.
Sarawak Day FIFA 19 Tournament (Malaysia)

To celebrate the state of Sarawak’s independence, the Kelab Belia Jalan Bakti and Oblivion Esports will be organising a Sarawak Day Esports Cup featuring FIFA 19 as its main game. The total prize pool for this tournament is RM15,000, with the champion winning RM5,000 from the share. Registration fee is RM30, while the deadline for signing up is 10 July.
