Battle Royale fans will be pleased to know the FSL is taking its maiden steps in the genre, with this weekend’s PUBG M Solos bringing together players from different SEA countries for what should be a thrilling affair! Meanwhile, if you want to support Singaporean charities, there’s also a #PlayApartTogether this weekend.

The FSL is hosting a PUBG Mobile solos tournament next weekend, pitting players from the following regions against each other:

  • Singapore

  • Malaysia

  • Indonesia

  • The Philippines

  • Vietnam

  • Myanmar

The tournament will use 4 maps: Erangel, Miramar, Vikendi, Sanhok. Points will be given for placing and killing. The first place prize is worth S$100.

Female Dota 2 players will be thrilled to find out that the FSL Dota 2 Open tournament is up again for 2020. The one-off competition will consist of 16 teams with a format of Bo1 Double Elimination and a Bo3 Finals.

Prize pools range from S$50 for 3rd place to S$300 for 1st place.

ONE Esports, together with IO Esports, will be hosting the ONE Esports Dota 2 SEA League starting June.

The tournament will conclude with playoffs taking place from July 15 - 19 to crown the best in Southeast Asia, with US$100,000 to be split among the teams who rank from 1st to 10th.

Fighting game fans in Malaysia can now prove their mettle in a series of online and offline tournaments organised by Yoodo and Flash Vision.

Five tournaments, including this one, will lead towards this year’s FV Major 2020 tournament later this year, be it for Tekken 7 or Street Fighter V.

This tournament’s registration fees will be donated to the National Zoo of Malaysia.

The champion of this online tournament will get direct entry to the FV Major Finals on 19 - 20 September. Whoever wins that tournament will represent team Yoodo FV for the EVO tournament in 2021.

PVP Esports is at it again with its community tournaments. The Campus Championship will feature Mobile Legends for would-be competitors who want to represent their campus. The tournament will feature over SG$100,000 worth of prizes to be won.

The countries involved for the Corporate Championship include Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines, and Thailand. The finalists will compete in Singapore at PVP Esports Community Championship Season 1 Finals.

Malaysia’s fighting game community will continue supporting Granblue Fantasy: Versus with a tournament held during Animangaki’s mini-event AMG-Chan. The tournament’s entry fee is RM15 and features an RM350 Top 8 payout.

Apart from testing your skills against the top players within the region, this is also a great opportunity to mingle with the country’s fighting game community.
