Waves Pound Montauk as Tropical Storm Henri Hits US Northeast

Tropical storm Henri caused major flooding across the New York tri-state area from late Saturday, August 21, through Monday, August 23, as heavy rain storms hovered over the region, the National Weather Service (NWS) said.

Footage posted by videographer Ben Von Klemperer shows businesses in Montauk, New York, boarding up their windows on Saturday, August 21, and subsequent scenes of rain and wind taken on Sunday. Henri has since been downgraded to a tropical depression.
