Waterfront Restaurant Evacuated as Supporting Seawall Falls Away
A waterfront restaurant in Swampscott, Massachusetts, was evacuated after a portion of the seawall underneath it fell away on Thursday, May 4, police said.
Patrons were escorted out of the Mission on the Bay by Swampscott Police and fire personnel.
Mission on the Bay was to remain closed over the weekend, following advice from a town building inspector.
