Watch: JD Vance holds town hall in ‘blue wall’ Pennsylvania

Sen. JD Vance (R-Ohio), former President Trump’s running mate, held a town hall in the critical swing state of Pennsylvania Wednesday afternoon.

The event, featuring former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (Hawaii) — who recently joined the GOP — was expected to focus on the Department of Veterans Affairs and the campaign’s promises to improve assistance to veterans, according to the announcement.

Vance’s visit to the battleground state, which Trump won in 2016 and lost to President Biden in 2020, comes as Election Day is less than a week away.

The Hill/Decision Desk HQ’s aggregate of polls shows the former president ahead in the Keystone State with 48.7 percent support compared to Vice President Harris’s 48.1 percent.

The town hall in Bedford, Pa., was scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m. EDT.
