Watch live: Biden, Harris deliver remarks on combatting gun violence
President Biden and Vice President Harris are slated to deliver remarks Thursday afternoon on the administration’s efforts to address gun violence in the U.S.
Biden is expected to issue an executive order that aims to “crack down on emerging firearm threats like unserialized, 3D-printed guns and machine gun conversion devices.” The order also directs officials on how to improve school-based active shooter drills.
The remarks come just days after the administration released a report on the progress made in the year since launching the White House Office of Gun Violence Prevention.
Their remarks are expected to begin at 4:45 p.m. EDT.
