This video of Kamala Harris—clearly having just finished a jog—receiving a phone call from her running partner, is the best thing to come out of today.

"We did it. We did it, Joe. You're gonna be the next president of the United States," she said, laughing.

This is the best thing ever: She's got her sunglasses on, her earbuds in hand as she realizes that she's going to the first woman and woman of color to the vice president of the United States.

After a nail-biter of an election week, hundreds of memes about Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Georgia, hours upon hours of watching MSNBC's Steve Kornacki hug a giant map and obsess over ballot math until he was forced to take a break, we finally have a winner of this election.

There have been many glorious moments this afternoon. Just scroll through Twitter to see the number of celebrations happening across the country. Folks in masks are out in the streets with their air horns, various brass instruments, signs, Pride flags, and more. Some people heard the sounds of screams and music in their neighborhood before they even got a news alert from The New York Times, the AP, or anyone else.

"America, I'm honored that you have chosen me to lead our great country," Biden tweeted in a statement today. "The work ahead of us will be hard, but I promise you this: I will be a President for all Americans — whether you voted for me or not. I will keep the faith that you have placed in me."

There are plenty more amazing Twitter reactions where these came from (including reactions from celebrities), and trust me, they will keep coming.
