Watch Doja Cat turn Jimmy Fallon into a dancing yeti with her hairy Coachella outfit

The rapper also promised more wigs to come on the "Scarlet" tour: "It’s gonna be a very hairy show."

When she’s not painting the town red, Doja Cat is making late night hairy.

On Wednesday, the Grammy-winning rapper made her Tonight Show appearance especially memorable by transforming host Jimmy Fallon into one of her infamous yeti dancers.

Those who caught her 2024 Coachella set will undoubtedly remember Doja performing “Demons” while sharing the stage with backup dancers dressed head-to-toe in blonde, hairy, yeti-esque suits. To keep the theme going, the singer brought the hair-forward attitude with her to Fallon’s couch.

“Not only are you the coolest but you’re also the coolest,” Fallon said, pulling out the hairy outfit towards the end of the interview. “You brought me the outfit to look at but I was like… Maybe I can just try it on.”

From there, Fallon struggled to get the outfit on, prompting Doja to run to his side of the desk and lend a hand. Though the duo couldn’t tell the back of the yeti from its front, they persevered.

“Is that how you do this?” Fallon asked at one point, to which Doja replied, “I like that. That’s creative.”

Once Fallon managed to (mostly) don the full hairsuit, the Roots provided a beat for Doja to teach the host some of her choreography. The result earned laughter from both Doja and the live audience.

Doja was one of several headliners at Coachella and delivered a performance that involved not only yetis embracing hairography, but a giant T-Rex skeleton and appearances from A$AP Rocky and 21 Savage.

Earlier in her conversation with Fallon, Doja revealed that the upcoming European leg of her Scarlet tour shares at least one element in common with her Coachella performance.

“I wanted it to be kind of modeled after hair,” she explained. “That’s the theme, hair. So it’s gonna be a very hairy show. I don't know if that does anything for anyone but that’s basically it.”
