'I Want to Go Home': Big Bison Blocks Traffic in Yellowstone
Drivers were stalled in Yellowstone National Park as a large bison stood across the roadway and refused to budge, footage posted on Monday, March 6, shows.
In the video, which was shot Cindy Shaffer, an area resident who regularly posts about Yellowstone, Shaffer says the bison had already been standing in the road 20 minutes.
The driver of a truck in front of Shaffer is seen trying to edge his vehicle around the bison to try to prompt it to move, but without success.
“This is just crazy,” Shaffer is heard saying.
Shaffer has run into a couple of “bison jams” "before":https://newswire.storyful.com/?search_term=yellowstone%2520cindy but was impressed this time by the “huge” size of the animal, she said. Credit: Cindy Shaffer via Storyful

CINDY SHAFFER: Well, this guy's been standing in the road 20 minutes now. This truck went around me and he's trying to get it to go, but it doesn't want to go. That bison is not moving. So we'll see what happens. This guy is trying to get him to move. He will not move. This is just crazy.
I was afraid to go around him because to the right is a very soft shoulder. And if I try to go to the right to pass him, I'm going to get stuck. So hopefully, this truck can get this big guy to go. But it's been at least 20 minutes. I want to go home.
