'Wall of Dust' Covers Field as High Winds Sweep Across West Texas

A large dust storm, or haboob, swept across Big Spring, Texas, on January 2, leading to reduced visibility in some areas.

The National Weather Service issued a wind advisory for parts of west Texas on Monday, as wind gusts up to 60 mph were recorded in some areas.

Video taken by David Mullins in Big Spring shows a ‘wall of dust’ cover a field as the cold front moved in on Monday afternoon.
