'Wall of Dust' Causes Low Visibility in West Texas

A driver near Lamesa, Texas, encountered what one social media user called a “wall of dust” on Wednesday, January 11.

Footage recorded by Wayne Dunson shows low visibility on Highway 349 on Wednesday afternoon, in what he said were windy conditions.

A truck in front of Dunson’s vehicle is barely visible through the cloud.

Nancy Huenergardt also posted about poor visibility near Lamesa on Wednesday, writing: “I hit a wall of dust! I mean ZERO visibility!” Credit: Wayne Dunson via Storyful
