'The Walking Dead' Fans Have So Many Emotions About Season 10's Return

From Good Housekeeping

Needless to say, a lot was going down when we last saw The Walking Dead gang in the season 10 "finale." Maggie (Lauren Cohan) came back and Daryl (Norman Reedus) put a stop to Beta (Ryan Hurst) and the terror of the Whisperers. But then, just like that, the season 10 "finale" ended, the credits started rolling, and fans were left wanting more.

Now for the good news: Even though it seems like season 10 has been over since the last episode aired in October ... it actually isn't. That said, fans will have to wait just a bit longer to catch what happens next.

When does The Walking Dead season 10 return with new episodes?

As announced by the show this Thursday on Instagram, The Walking Dead season 10 returns on Sunday, February 28 at 9 p.m. ET. Before officially ending, season 10 will include six more episodes. What's more, those who subscribe to AMC's streaming service, AMC+, will get to enjoy each new episode the Thursday before it premieres the following Sunday, per Variety. Along with the usual cast, guest stars will include Robert Patrick, Hilarie Burton Morgan, and new co-star Okea Eme-Akwari.

Reacting to the above Instagram announcement, fans freaked out in the best way possible. "Can't wait!!!!," one fan commented. "So excited 🤤⚡🔥," another wrote. "Keep going guys ❤️💪🏾," a different fan said. Several more commented lots of "👏" and "😍" emojis.

As for the other Walking Dead spinoffs, fans can expect Talking Dead to return with season 10 of The Walking Dead on February 28. Later on this year, The Walking Dead: The World Beyond season 2, Fear the Walking Dead seasons 6 and 7, and, finally, The Walking Dead season 11 are all slated to premiere.

Got all of that? Great! Since that's all settled, guess it's time to rewatch old episodes until season 10 of TWD is back.
