Wait, What Kind of Law Does ‘Bachelor’ Star Kelley Flanagan Practice?

If we learned anything from Peter Weber’s season of The Bachelor, it’s that Kelley Flanagan is an attorney (she did remind us pretty frequently) and Weber’s mom Barb is…a lot. And while we feel pretty sure of Barb’s over-the-topness, we couldn’t help but wonder what kind of law Flanagan practices. So, as extremely dedicated Bachelor fans with a lot of newfound spare time on our hands, we did some digging.

A quick LinkedIn search shows that the 27-year-old Bachelor alum works at a Chicago law firm called Flanagan Bilton, LLC. (yep, her family shop). She practices tax law and graduated from the University of Alabama with a bachelor’s in marketing. Her law degree is from Chicago-Kent College of Law at the Illinois Institute of Technology.

According to LinkedIn, Flanagan Bilton LLC is a national property tax law firm that specializes in reducing property taxes for commercial real estate. It serves more than 1,000 clients in all 50 states and oversees a mix of real estate investment trusts, banks, insurance companies and pension funds. Pretty fancy, right?

So, what else did we learn from her LinkedIn? Well, she spent a semester at sea and then became a global ambassador for the program later in her college career. As part of her curriculum, she made a documentary about “women’s societal roles in the world.”

While at the University of Alabama (where Weber’s other ex, Hannah Brown, also went), she was on the President’s and Dean’s list and was a member of the Zeta Tau Alpha sorority.

After college, she had a short stint as a marketing manager for a mobile laundry service app and then continued on to her true calling: law.

The rest is history. Still up for discussion is what the heck is going on with her and Weber. They were recently spotted canoodling, after all…
