The Voice UK presenter Emma Willis has revealed that the show's coaches are getting competitive ahead of this weekend's final – with one exception.

This Saturday (November 14) will see either Gevanni Hutton (coached by will.i.am), Jonny Brooks (coached by Sir Tom Jones), Brooke Scullion (coached by Meghan Trainor) or Blessing Chitapa (coached by Olly Murs) crowned the winner of The Voice UK 2020.

And Willis, who has hosted the talent show since 2014, told RadioTimes.com and other press that some of the coaches are very keen to see their act take the top spot.

"I mean, Olly always wants to win," she said. "And I think Meghan would really like to win because it's her first series and I feel like whenever you're kind of new to that panel, it's always nice to kind of end it with a win."

She added: "Tom is I suppose the one I find the least competitive. But he's Tom Jones. He's a star! He's been in this business for like 70 years."

The presenter, who has also hosted The Circle and Big Brother, revealed that if the show's youngest contestant – will.i.am's 17-year-old act Hutton – is named the winner, the tears could be flowing in the studio.

"I feel like it would mean so much to Will this year because he has had such a phenomenal bond with Gevanni from the minute he walked out onto that stage and just kind of said, 'I'm doing it for my family because I want them to have a better life' and that's exactly why Will got into music," she said.

"So I feel like that is an incredibly personal connection. I think he would be over the moon. Maybe he would cry now that I think about it! Whenever I see Will get emotional, I always cry.

"There were a couple of times in the series just gone when he would talk about one of his acts and he would kind of say, 'I just hope if I have children, they are just like you.' So sweet! I don't know what it is, but he can make me quite emotional."

The next series of The Voice UK will see coach Trainor step down from the show after she recently revealed that she is pregnant with a baby boy, who is due in 2021. She will be replaced by singer Anne-Marie.

The Voice UK airs its 2020 final on Saturday, November 14 at 8.40pm on ITV.
