'Violent' Eruption Sends Plume High Into Sky Over Mount Etna

A “violent” eruption took place at Italy’s Mount Etna on September 21, TGR Sicily reported.

The plume of ash reached an altitude of 9,000 metres, according to the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology.
