'Zero Visibility': Cars Slide off Minnesota Highway as Winter Storm Whips Snow

Poor visibility during a winter storm that swept across Minnesota on January 17 led to multiple vehicles sliding off Minnesota State Highway 336.

This footage, tweeted by a Minnesota State Patrol Public Information Officer, shows one of the cars, which reportedly slid off the highway east of Moorhead in Minnesota’s northwestern Clay County.

According to local media, Clay County Sheriff Mark Empting had issued a “no travel” advisory in rural Clay County as of January 17, warning of “zero visibility” due to heavy winds and blowing snow.
