Wintry Mix Makes Mess of New York Morning Commute

Snow, sleet, and ice made road conditions dangerous for morning commuters in Rochester, New York, on Tuesday, February 18.

The National Weather Service warned the New York counties of Rochester, Albion, and Batavia of freezing rain and a “light glaze of ice” before temperatures rose at 8 am on Tuesday.

Northwest Rochester received 3.5 inches of snow, the NWS reported.
