Vatican Christmas Tree Arrives at St. Peter’s Square

The Vatican Christmas tree was delivered to St Peter’s Square on November 30, where it will be pruned and decorated ahead of its inauguration on December 11, Vatican News reported.

The 28-meter-tall spruce from Kočevje, Slovenia, will be displayed outside St Peter’s Basilica until January 10, alongside a Nativity scene donated by Castelli, an Abruzzo town known for its ceramics, Vatican News said. Credit: Vatican News via Storyful
