Tropical Storm Floods Roads in Northern Queensland
Rainfall from a tropical storm flooded roadways in the northern Queensland towns of Brandon, Ayr, and Home Hill on January 28, according to reports.
Bruce Highway was closed between Ayr and Home Hill on Monday, the Department of Transport and Main Roads Queensland said.
The storm that brought the intense rainfall to North Queensland, Australia, was expected to move south in the following days.
