Tour Buses Descend on Berlin as Coronavirus-Hit Operators Seek Government Support

Convoys of tour buses drove through Berlin on May 27 as part of an appeal by operators for support during the coronavirus pandemic, which they say has devastated their industry.

The Morgen Post reported that hundreds of buses “paralyzed traffic”.

Deutsche Welle said similar actions were planned for other cities. The Federal Association of German Bus Operators was calling for state subsidies and for the resumption of bus travel nationwide, Deutsche Welle said. Credit: @oODanyDeeOo via Storyful
