Thousands Block Bangkok Intersection as Anti-Government Protests Continue

A large crowd blocked the intersection around Kaset Bridge in Bangkok on October 19, as anti-government protests continued around Thailand.

Protesters are calling for Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha to step down and for constitutional reforms. They have also called for reforms to the monarchy, despite laws banning its criticism.

The protest, one of three in the city on Monday, ended peacefully, the Bangkok Post said. Credit: Anonymous via Storyful
