Temperature Screenings for Passengers in Sicily Airport Amid Coronavirus Outbreak

Passengers in Catania airport in Sicily, Italy, were subject to temperate checks, footage from February 23 showed, as the country struggled to deal with Europe’s worst outbreak of the coronavirus.

A fourth death from the virus was reported in Italy on Monday, February 24. Quarantines have been imposed in several northern towns. The annual carnival in Venice, meanwhile, has been cut short, and a number of other events, including top-flight soccer matches, were cancelled.
