Heavy rainfall in Tahiti, French Polynesia, led to flooding on Thursday, December 7, local news reported.

More than 250 houses were flooded due to the heavy rainfall, according to local reports.

This footage by local outlet La Depeche de Tahiti shows a flooded roadway in Faaone.

All educational establishments, including the University of French Polynesia, were to be closed on Friday, December 8, local reports said.
