A number of people, including a child, were pulled alive from the rubble of a collapsed building near Mumbai where at least 10 died on September 21, authorities from India’s National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) said.
According to reports, around 20 families lived in the 40-year-old building.
Prime Minsiter Narendra Modi tweeted his condonences to the families of those killed. “Rescue operations are underway and all possible assistance is being provided to the affected,” he wrote.
