Spring Showers Bring Chilly Precipitation to Parts of North Carolina

Graupel and snow fell on Newland, North Carolina, near the Tennessee border, on Friday, April 12.

Former North Carolina state senator Sam Searcy captured this footage, and described the precipitation as “wet snow.”
