South Australian Outback Drenched After Heavy Downpour

Parts of outback South Australia received a welcome downpour on September 19, after some areas went months without rain.

Maree, in South Australia’s north, saw a whopping 93 millimetres while Leigh Creek, in the state’s east, recorded about 15 millimetres. It was the most rainfall since February, according to Bureau of Meteorology data.
