Snow Plows Pass Through Colorado Springs Amid Record-Setting Cold
A record-breaking cold front was accompanied by snowfall in Colorado Springs, Colorado, on Monday, October 26, the National Weather Service (NWS) said.
Overnight temperatures from Sunday into Monday dropped to 2 degrees Fahrenheit (-17 degrees Celsius), breaking the previous record of 16 degrees Fahrenheit (-8 degrees Celsius) that was set in 1997, according to the NWS.
The NWS warned drivers that “moderate to heavy snow” on Monday would cut visibility and leave roads slick.
