Snow Leads to Traffic Disruptions in Colorado Springs

Snowfall in Colorado Springs, Colorado, on Friday, December 8, caused adverse driving conditions and traffic disruptions in the area.

The National Weather Service (NWS) urged people not to drive, as snowfall rates of up to two inches per hour would affect travel.

Multiple roads remained closed on Saturday morning, after snow continued to fall overnight, a map from the Colorado Department of Transportation showed.

Additional snowfall of up to two inches was expected on Saturday, the NWS said.
