Snow Lab Employee Takes Break to Revel in Winter Storm

An employee of the UC Berkeley Central Sierra Snow Lab took a moment to revel in freshly fallen snow amid a winter storm on March 1.

Footage posted to X by the lab shows a worker taking a break to create a snow angel just outside their base in Soda Springs, California. The lab said they recorded 19.1 inches of snowfall in the last 24 hours.

The NWS issued a blizzard warning to remain in effect for the area until Sunday, with up to 12 feet of total snow accumulation expected in parts of the Sierra Nevada. Credit: UC Berkeley Central Sierra Snow Lab via Storyful
