Snow Blankets Islands in Puget Sound as Authorities Urge Caution on Roads

Authorities on the islands in Washington’s Puget Sound urged drivers to be cautious early on Tuesday, February 27, as the National Weather Service (NWS) reported four inches of snow accumulation in the area.

The NWS warned of “travel impacts during the morning commute due to snow and ice” on Tuesday.

Footage released by the Island County Sheriff’s Office shows the driving conditions amid snow.
