Smoke Rises From Brushfire in Los Angeles's Pacific Palisades

A brushfire spread in the hills of Los Angeles’s Pacific Palisades and threatened homes in the area on Monday, October 21, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The fire spread to over 30 acres on Monday and was threatening homes on Vista Grande Drive and Charmel Lane, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The LAFD issued a mandatory evacuation for people in the area, including Charmel Lane to the west, Bienveneda Avenue to the east, Merivale Lane to the south, and the end of Lachman Lane to the north.

No injuries were reported at the time of writing.
