Skier's Headcam Captures Terrifying Avalanche Ordeal and Rescue
A camera mounted a skier’s helmet captured the moment he was buried by an avalanche during a trip to Guardsman Pass in Park City, Utah, on February 16, before he was rescued by two companions.
This video shows the skier moving down a slope before being swept away and covered by snow. He can be heard calling for help as his companions frantically search for him. The skier reportedly was carried 200 feet down the slope. His friends Colby Stevenson and John Brown witnessed the fall and were able to dig him out of the snow. Credit: Anonymous via Storyful
