Shaquille O'Neal Stops to Help Driver After Crash on Florida Interstate
NBA icon Shaquille O’Neal helped a woman who had crashed her car along Interstate 75 in Alachua County, Florida, on July 13.
The Alachua County Sheriff’s Office released dashcam footage that shows Shaq towering on the side of I-75 and greeting deputies near the crash site. The sheriff’s office said Shaq stopped to check on the driver and wait with her until authorities arrived.
“I appreciate you stopping to help,” the deputy tells Shaq as they walk over to the car pulled over on the shoulder of the interstate.
