Second Night of Protests in Louisville Following Breonna Taylor Decision

Demonstrators took to the streets of Louisville for a second night on September 24, following the decision to indict one of three officers involved in the fatal shooting of Breonna Taylor earlier this year.

At least 24 arrests were reported by police.

Former Louisville officer Brett Hankison was indicted for wanton endangerment in the shooting death of Taylor in March. Two other officers involved, who both fired weapons, were not charged.

A curfew ordered by the Louisville mayor on Wednesday was extended through the weekend, effective from 9 pm through 6:30 am.
