School Children Shelter Under Desks as Earthquake Hits Off Jamaica's Coast

A 7.7-magnitude earthquake hit around 78 miles off the coast of Jamaica on Tuesday, January 28, according to the United States Geological Survey.

The USGS said the quake was recorded north-northwest of Lucea, Jamaica. Tremors were felt across much of the island, according to local media.
