Roads Washed Out After Torrential Rain Soaks Oregon

Officials in Tillamook County, Oregon, declared a state of emergency on Wednesday, December 6, after floodwaters washed out several roads, local outlets reported.

Northwest Oregon was hit with heavy rain on Tuesday and Wednesday, as weather officials warned of “urban, small stream, and river flooding.”

Drone footage captured by Jonathon Laucks on Wednesday shows part of Sandlake Road, between Tierra del Mar and Pacific City, washed out. Laucks told Storyful that the “hillside under the road slid out and the road itself followed.”
