Roads Flooded Near Long Beach as California Braces For More Wet Weather

Roads were flooded on Terminal Island near Long Beach, California, after the region was hit by heavy rainfall on Wednesday, January 16.

Authorities issued flood warnings for a number of areas including, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Sacramento.

In this video shared to Instagram, traffic moves through a flooded road on Terminal Island on Wednesday evening.

“A powerful Pacific Storm will continue to produce heavy rain, strong winds, heavy mountain snow, and dangerous seas,” a Twitter alert from the National Weather Service stated.

“Travel will be hazardous in the mountains where blizzard conditions can be expected. Flash flooding, and debris and mud flows may occur.”
