Residents Work to Clear Several Feet of Snow From Newfoundland Neighborhoods

Residents of Paradise in Newfoundland and Labrador worked to clear snow from their homes on January 18 after a massive blizzard left houses blanketed in the area.

This video, filmed by Kim Porter, shows snow being cleared from the windows of the second floor of her home.

State of emergency and storm surge warnings were still in effect across the province on January 18. The blizzard left several feet of snow and caused white-out conditions.

Snow remained heavy on the ground on January 19 in areas that snow crews hadn’t reached.
