Railway Staff Distribute Food During Coronavirus Lockdown in New Delhi
Railway staff handed out food to a line of people practicing social distancing in New Delhi, India, during a national 21-day lockdown to stop the spread of the coronavirus.
“Indian Railways, adopting humanitarian approach, is constantly making and distributing food for poor and destitute people,” a Facebook post from India’s Ministry of Railways translated by Storyful said.
India’s government ordered a 21-day lockdown from March 25 to contain the spread of COVID-19 in the country.
