Protesters Take Guillotine to Puerto Rico Governor's Mansion Amid Anger Over Unused Aid

Thousands of protesters rallied in San Juan, Puerto Rico, on January 23 against a government that had allegedly left emergency aid supplies unused despite the deadly earthquake that recently struck the region.

This video shows the protesters carrying a full-sized guillotine to the governor’s mansion, also known as La Fortaleza or ‘the fortress’. The guillotine features the Puerto Rican flag.

According to reports, the demonstrators were demanding the exit of Governor Wanda Vazquez.
